OUR STORY
Our family arrived at this estate in Tivissa with a house to renovate, plenty of land and, above all, a desire to turn it into a place where people could come together.
The house became our family home, always open to friends, celebrations and long meals around the table. At the same time, we began working the land, planting fruit trees, restoring the vegetable garden and moving towards a more sustainable way of farming.
Mas de l’Illa grew out of that home and that way of life on the estate: a home, a piece of land and a desire to share them with others.
Who we are

Between the Ebro River and the Tivissa mountains, Mas de l’Illa is surrounded by fruit orchards, vegetable gardens, landscaped gardens and riverside woodland.
A place to walk, cycle, stroll along the river or simply pause and listen. Our little island beside the Ebro is a special spot where life moves at a gentler pace. We grow much of the produce that feeds our family and guests in our vegetable garden, using any surplus to make preserves and jams.
We also strive to live and work in harmony with our surroundings. Solar energy, water from our own cisterns, making use of firewood and composting are all part of our everyday life.
